Talking about the hot topics of Korean girlgroups crossing over to Japan, YG Entertainment releases a statement regarding this ongoing trend. When asked about if it’s possible for 2NE1 to have a market in Japan, they only replied with “They will just focus on the domestic markets and consider to debut in abroad after they are fully prepared.” More on, they also added that “There are many suggestions offering a contract with huge amount of money from many entertainment companies from Japan to 2NE1, but we kept on refusing them”, explaining the present situation, saying, “The domestic activities are the priorities and there’s a plan for the US debut, so we think it’s not our time yet.”
