Performing for the first time in Japan, Korean girl group T-ARA performed in front of their 1,500 Japanese fans in Shibuya AX Hall in Tokyo today. Marking the start of their debut promotions in the country as they will follow up with their first Japanese album in the country in September.
According to Core Contents Media today, demands for the tickets had exceeded their expectations – after they have received at least 100,000 fans applying for the tickets. Meanwhile, when asked on their views on their Japanese debut, T-ARA reveals that, “We will highlight our friendly image, just as other [successful] girl groups like Girls’ Generation and Kara have established their own identities [for Japanese fans]. As in Korea, we would like to be active in TV series and entertainment show programs [here]. We also want to hold concerts at large venues such as the Tokyo Dome.”
