Despite cancelling their debut performances in Japan for their promotions for “Shock”, BEAST continues to break records for their debut single in Oricon’s Daily rankings. BEAST’s first album release is reported to have landed on the second place of the music rankings, the highest rank for a non-Japanese artist to reach the chart on their debut single. According to Oricon Style, BEAST’s “Shock” has sold over 29,000 copies since its release on the 16th and has been on the second rankings since. BEAST has beaten out Bigbang’s debut record for “My Heaven” which landed third last July 2009. What do you think of BEAST’s new achievement?
