Park Jaebom’s recent tweets has caused a slight stir in the world of netizenry, once again. Following his recent tweets in support of the South Korean team for the World Cup – the netizens have divided into half both in love and hate for his recent message.
From the looks of it, some ‘fans’ just couldn’t move on.
Netizens show conflicting opinions with Jay’s Korea support
Jaebum has been attracting attention lately due to a message of support he wrote for Korea. Jaebum withdrew from 2PM last year due to comments he made belittling Korea.
On the 13th, Jaebum wrote on his personal Youtube channel, “Congratulations SOUTH KOREA!” in support of the Korean team against the Greece match.
He had also previously written ‘2010 South Africa Korea fighting’ on his Twitter and revealed a picture of himself wearing a red devils t-shirt.
The responses of the netizens have been on complete opposite ends. Fans immediately flocked to his Youtube in order to write messages of support such as, “Jaebum might not be in the same ground as us but let’s support with the same heart” (Hidden****), and “Reading your words makes me wanna get up and support the soccer team when I didn’t care for it before.”
However, there are also netizens that are bringing up his ‘belittling Korea’ comments and criticizing him, leaving comments such as, “Whenever you think you can forget him, he keeps on coming back. Just get used to living in America, please” (lala***), “He should go support his own country, I don’t know why he’s supporting Korea.”
